If i've posted this twice forgive me but it didn't show up the first time. I think the board might be struggling because this thread is massive! Conratulations UCFGuardGirl, I think this is the most popular post in the history of the board! Correct me if I'm wrong!

You're absolutely right! Precious Andrew! Hey guys...I got another idea about the game...it came to me when Moljul said that everything ties back to Bernadette. What if instead of the Kevin Bacon game we played the Bernadette Peters game. For those of you who don't know what it is, the Kevin Bacon game is where you say and actor or movie and you have to link it to Kevin Bacon through a thread...I thought we'd have fun doin the same with Bernadette just as Moljul did with Judy Davis in Impromtu. Does anyone want to play?

So do you have to link whatever it is to her in six tries or something? Someone post a new thread with the rules and stuff! It was my idea but we kinda always half way did it on the bus to somewhere without many rules.

I think six degrees of seperation would be fun...unfortunately, I don't know the rules... But I'm all for it!!

BTW: I've enjoyed reading this trivia thread, and I wish I had something to contribute, but I'm not good at making up questions. And everyone always beats me to the answers!! Guess I need to get on the ball...

lol. I didn't do it.

You guys are just really good with the trivia! It's funny that you bring up the six degrees of seperation game, because I was thinking of trying that one next. (I LOVE trivia!) Definitely start a new thread, Broadwaybaby17!

Six degrees usually goes like this: One person names an actor. (Oh, and it's important when you name a person for everyone to trace that YOU yourself can trace the person back somehow. lol.)

Anyway.

For example purposes, let's name an actor:

Lesley Ann Warren

What we now have to do now is trace Leslie Ann Warren back to Bernadette in 6 connections or less. The person who can come up with the least amount of connections back to Bernadette wins. (So several people can actually be right, because usually, more than one line of connections can be made to trace the performer back.)

In this case:

Lesley Warren worked with Tim Curry in Clue, and Tim Curry worked with Bernadette Peters in Annie. So Leslie Ann Warren is 2 degrees of seperation away from Bernadette.

Make sense?

I say Broadwaybaby17 needs to start the new game. Go for it, girl!

Regis: And look at all this hair. My God. That's a lot of hair. Look at this. How does hair get this way?
Bernadette: Um.. it sort of grew out of my head like this.

Do you know the commercial with Kevin Bacon? It's something like:
He doesn't have ID to cash a check...so he finds a makeup lady who knows him and can ID him, the lady's priest, the priest's butcher, the butcher's sister, the sister whose best friend is the girlfriend of the guy asking for the ID. Each is connected to the other and connects the store clerk to Bacon.
Bacon
Makeup Lady
Priest
Butcher
Sister
Girlfriend
Store Clerk
So the store clerk is six steps away from knowing Kevin Bacon.

Yeah, they were making fun of the game. It's like everyone in hollywood is linked to Kevin Bacon...but I think in all actuality it's everyone in hollywood is linked to Tom Hanks, because everytime I've played it, it was "so-in-so was in such-in-such with Tom Hanks who was in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon." but it's really fun!

Ha! You're probably right about Tom Hanks. There could maybe be a second game: how many ways can you link Bernadette to Tom Hanks?
(we've already had two here!!)
