From: Edinburgh, Scotland | posted: 6/21/2008 at 5:13:18 AM ET Karen, thanks for the link, the High School Tony Awards were very funny. I love the idea of the "Least Convincing Cockney Accent" and the "Most Exagerrated Limp" categories.

| posted: 6/21/2008 at 5:48:50 PM ET LOL Thanks Karen I try.
I was just gong by what she has said in recent interviews when asked if she had seen anyone else play Rose. Then again, she played Louise in a production when she was younger, so hi, walking/talking contradiction.
Whhoooo knows.
I will wager anything she did not, however, see Bernadette in the role and therefor that comment cannot be directed towards her specific performance.
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury:
I implore you to take my client's lack of Gypsy viewing into account and find her not guilty by reason of being blind-sided and over enthused from just having won a prestigious award.

I am a bitch. Hath not a bitch eyes? hath not a foul-mouthed harridan hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions, Tony Awards? fed with the same Angus McIndoe food, hurt with the same mixed reviews, subject to the same mocking internet posts, healed by the same fawning fan adoration, warmed and cooled by the same saunas and swimming pools, as a nice person is?
