| posted: 9/4/2003 at 1:17:56 PM ET My sense of better judgement tells me not to put this down in writing but here goes:
I have seen it 11 times (10 times with Bernadette and once with Maureen Moore). At this point I have plans to see it in November but one never knows when the urge might hit me again. So I can safely say by November that it will be at least 12 times.

How about the farthest?
Wanna play 'can you top this':
I drove six+ hours, saw a matinee and Broadway Barks, then drove back home, about 650 miles RT, in less than 24 hours (for someone my age, that's pretty nutsy too).

From: Bradenton/Sarasota, FLA | posted: 9/4/2003 at 2:44:21 PM ET But about 15 hours of driving in one day is tough on your tush!!
BTW, with that one-day road trip, I didn't think I'd make it. I got into Manhattan, found a garage and threw my keys at the attendant, ran about two blocks to the Shubert, got to the Will Call window as a bell was tolling 2 outside, checked my bag downstairs, and got into my seat literally one minute before the overture started. But I had a front-row, end-of-the-row seat and Bernadette was so close, I coulda tripped her. It was so fun....one of the coolest days of my life.

I LOVE your spunk and spontaneity!!! I can relate, I drove all the way from Bangor, Maine to Johnstown, Pennslyvania to see Bernadette in concert! It was thrilling and sooooo much fun! And definitely worth it

I've only seen the show once! I have plans to see it more times, but having no money and not being able to drive really sucks.

Registered: 9/3/2003 | posted: 9/4/2003 at 6:44:09 PM ET Would I be permanently condemmed if I tell you that I haven't seen it yet? I'm 15, broke, and I live in Chicago. LOL That does *not* make a good combination, believe me.
However, my school choir has plans to go to New York in April, so I may go see Gypsy, providing Bernadette is still there. If she isn't, I have no chance. *pout*

From: New Jersey | posted: 9/4/2003 at 9:01:24 PM ET I think she should still be ther in April (correct me if I'm wrong) but I think she's under contract until May....? Maybe her last show would be on my birthday, May 11! That would be cool so I could go see her on my birthday, I cried at her last show for AGYG lol
