| posted: 9/4/2003 at 11:47:26 PM ET Well I obvioulsy had to put the longest and most draining effort into seeing Gypsy those 11 times. I mean I had to walk 11 whole blocks!!! Man I was exhausted because then I had to walk those same 11 blocks back to my apartment. It was rough. And then there were those 2 times when it was raining and I had to take a bus. I can't believe I survived.
I know all of you who had to travel a long way want to kill me right now. LOL

But,my heart aches to see Bernadette again.I I could raid my money market account and fly up overnite, I guess!Maybe I just might .....Anyway, thank God I still have a good memory to recall this great experience!

From: Boston, MA | posted: 9/5/2003 at 4:15:55 PM ET Just two for me. Once in previews the day she got her cold and once over Labor Day when she was fantastic. I'm so impressed with everyone's dedication. If I wasn't in the same boat as Kevin (grad school and full time job), I'd probably try to get down to the city a couple more times. The most times I've ever seen a show is "Fosse" which I saw four times. Once in previews, once in London, and twice in NYC.

I've been five times, but I didn't say I'd *paid for it* all yet. That's what plastic was put on this earth for!!
moljul, I don't hate you because you're beautiful or because you've seen Gypsy 11 times. But you can color me green!! I walk 11 blocks and see grain silos. Oy. I'll dream vicariously, and pity you when you must (oh, my) slog your way to No. 12.
You need an even dozen, no??

From: washington, dc | posted: 9/5/2003 at 6:46:48 PM ET I've only seen gypsy once because I am wayyyyy too poor. But my trip was filled with excitement. First I paid for mine and my sister's tickets because thats the only way i could go, if she went with me. then on the way up on the train there were no seats and we sat sepereately while these two people stood in the aisle and were way too in my personal space. when in ny i stayed at my aunt and uncles apartment. they have a cat that likes to meow at 2,3,4, and 5 in the morning. giving me about 4 hours of sleep. after ths how i also fainted from no food. and that night the cat wiped cat poop near my head. then on the way back home the train was delayed an hour and half. then when about 20 minutes from my stop we stopped for like 2 hours because the train people thought they hit someone (they didnt). i got off a different stop where i was supposed to be picked up and my ride went to the wrong place. so i had to take a cab home at one in the morning in dc (not much going on on a sunday night) and had work the next day.
BUT...IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. I'd do it again and agian and again even if it ended like that everytime.
the end.
damn, she's cool.
