How about Christina Applegate's comment..."People wouldn't come to the show if I wasn't in it.." uuh ok

From: northern VA | posted: 6/5/2005 at 7:32:20 PM ET Yes-she said people wouldn't buy tickets if she wasn't in the show (right after she mentioned that the show had briefly closed).
Which...well...but geez, you don't have to say it quite like that.
She also gave a little dig at the host (same one I mentioned.) "Aren't you, like, worried about dancing on your foot?" "I've been dancing on it for a month and a half, so the worry is gone" said in a "lady, you stupid" tone of voice.
They deserve it. Off to go grab some food before the big show starts.

I do NOT like that woman.

From: northern VA | posted: 6/5/2005 at 8:36:48 PM ET Bernadette sounded fine and looked lovely, as always.
DRS had a great showing and a great number. And I thought Hugh did a wonderful number-very funny exchange between Hugh and Billy Crystal. Mario Cantone-I just don't get his appeal, I guess.
Did I just imagine I read this, or are Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker getting divorced? He didn't look too happy during Hugh's comments.

Me too, Jerry!
Ooh, score...
Adam Guettel. Good for him. I hope he stays on the good path. He's too gifted and talented to do permanent damage to himself.

| posted: 6/6/2005 at 3:23:04 PM ET lol Bernadette is so funny.
She showed up to the rehearsals in a sequened evening gown. I was like, "Wow. She really took the term 'Dress Rehearsal' seriously." But her hair was really wet looking.
She did her opening number, then left. She must have gone home in between.
She came back to rehearse for the Best Actor category in jeans and a tank top and jacket; but her hair was nice and dry.
I was so confused.
I think maybe she was trying on dresses that morning or something. She obviously wore a different one for the Tony's.
At the rehearsal though, she was like the Queen. It was funny.
She was walking around in the orchestra seating, stopping and saying hello to people, and then just walking away to the next person.
They had roped off sections down there. One of the usher/security people was not about to let her through of something. Then they looked and actually saw who she was, and allowed her right past. I was like, "Damn right you allow Bernadette Peters to go through."
