This Thursday, Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters will be signing copies of the new children's book "Dewie Doo-It Helps Ollie Fly Again"at the Barnes and Noble on East 17th street at 7:00 PM.
The book was inspired by Christopher Reeve, proceeds are going to charity and it comes with a CD with Mandy and Bernadette.

There is someone posting an already signed copy of this book by BP and MP. It says it was signed at a Barnes and Nobles in NYC. I wonder if it already happened or if the person is selling it ahead of getting it signed.

In the Book section of Time Out New York there is a listing for the event at Borders on Thursday. There is a puppet show and then a talk by Bernadette and Mandy P. and then the signing I guess. Who wants to bet that Mandy P. will hog the talking time?

I said Borders but B&N and Borders are the same to me - but I know the store they are talking about. Hopefully we'll get there early enough to get a good viewing/hearing spot and there won't too many bratty kids there for the puppet portion. Yeah, yeah, I know, the book and cd are for kids...

Okay just as an aside, I will die laughing if Bernadette and Mandy get up and start doing the puppet show. Not that I can't see it happening with BP's cutesy voice....hhahahaa
