Here's something interesting...

PBS is starting a series in April called "Character Studies" in which fictitious theatre characters are given sort of the "A&E Biography" treatment -- as if they were real people.

Gypsy's "Rose" is one of the characters to be profiled (although, technically, she is a real person.)

From what I can tell from the article in "Backstage," Bernadette will be interviewed. And Tyne Daly, too.

I think someone posted this awhile ago...but maybe not.

I'm really excited to see this series. Even if Bernadette wasn't involved, I would still be interested in this show; it's a great idea!

And Rose is such a fascinating character (and real person).

And I sure hope my local PBS station runs it!
(it's a bit podunk).
