This is going to sound so pretentious...but since that's never stopped me before...I'm sure we could all easily find "plenty of people" who've never heard of virtually any important figure in art, science, literature, history, etc. That doesn't diminish those figures' significance, it merely reflects general cultural ignorance and the decline of standards.
Sorry to be so preachy and boring, but this is one of my major concerns, and I feel compelled to mention it.

As much as I hate to admit it, that's true - a lot of people don't know who she is. But even as a "B-lister," or wherever you want to put her, she's still going to need a salary - one that's probably not too friendly to low budget films. Especially if her pay is in hair care products. 
But like someone said, it's definitely worth sending Bernadette a final script. Even if she doesn't agree to do it, if she really likes it, she might be able to get you some contacts, etc.

There are plenty of A-list folks with little to offer (what does Paris Hilton actually DO?), and if you watch Leno's street quizzes occasionally, you'll know there are plenty of people who know who Paris Hilton is but who couldn't find Paris is on a map.

You can definitely get there if you work hard, but you can start now by working on your spelling, which could use improvement. The word is "original," not "origanal," and under your Bernadette picturess, I think you want to say "innocent" when you refer to her smile. That's just a starting point...

Mae, you haven't told us anything about your film. What's the premise? Is it a comedy or a drama or a teen slasher? What was the role you were interested in Bernadette playing? Why did you feel Bernadette would be right for this part?

The movie is kind of like a soap/drama. 3 kids whose mother is accused dead and they live with their Aunt Alizabeth Grace Rosler in Portland, Maine which is where Bernadette would come in. She would play Alizabeth who is the mother of 20 or so kids, 3 adopted, very kind, motherly, sweet, loving, caring, most consiterate character in the movie. Hope that's enough information for you.

Here is my question... why does the same person feel the need to keep coming to this site and this message board, pretending to be a 12 year old girl, and continuously write ridiculous questions and comments about BP?
Is it supposed to be funny? Because I really don't see the humor. I think it's lame. Enough already.

Well this is a fun little thread. :-P
I know I don't post much, but I feel like I should put my two cents in.
It's rather disappointing to see that this board, which used to be so supportive and friendly, has slowly but surely begun the journey to join the ranks of all the other catty online boards. Now this isn't directed at everyone (and it's not directed at you, GraceAnne, even though I'm posing right after you...), but for those anonymous posters, or even those registered ones, who feel the desire to make snide, unecessary comments that could be potentially hurtful to others...don't. Take it somewhere else. If not, we'll find out where you live, and you have to sleep sometime...
Seriously, though, if someone is pretending to be a young girl, and they're really not...get a life. And if Mae is for real...like Jenny said, stop taking the piss out of her. There's enough negativity in this world beyond our control without us adding more to the ugly mix.
This is supposed to be a fun place to discuss BP, and if you're not interested in doing so, we're not interested in having you.
And now I shall step off my soapbox and resume my usual silent presence.
