Yes she was. I've read that she eventually joined the cast of Gypsy (the one Bernadette was in) and understudied the role of Louise. Would have been fun if Bernadette and Donna got to play June and Louise together on stage but I don't think they did.
I also believe I read that Donna went to the High School of Performing Arts which is now near Lincoln Center.

I agree, that would be a lot of fun had they played each others sister, but dont they look at lot alike....maybe that would have put a new spin on the show..June and Louise are identical twins......laurents would probably kill over though....

Thanks. I was just wondering because I was thinking that if Donna were an actress too it's strange that their mother only changed Bernadette's name and not Donna's too. It would have been fun to see them play June and Louise. 0

I'm not sure if Donna ever used a stage name. I know their mother occassionally acted and used Peters as her stage name so I bet Donna did too.

This is completely off topic but do you know if Donna was the oldest or if their brother is older.

In the article about Bernadette in the library reference set "Current Biography" it says that her sister is nine years older, and her brother is three years older. I'm assuming that's reasonably accurate, although sometimes those things have mistakes.

Donna is the oldest, then their brother, Joseph, and Bernadette is the baby.

Has anyone ever seen her brother? I'm really curious to see if he looks like bernadette and Donna. He never performed did he? I wonder if he followed his father in their bread business so their mother never pushed it.
