OK I'm going to the taping of Adopted on Thursday. I'll post what happens after but are there any specific details anyone wants. If it's mentioned before I go I'll be more likely to remember to look for it.

Will you have an assigned seat or is it first come first serve seating? It will be interesting to hear about costuming and how much time Bernadette is in it. Also, please make sure you find out when it will be aired!

First come first serve. The taping starts at six and they tell you to get there 90 minutes before. So I'll just go straight from my school which is a little over an hour away.

Well I think a network has to buy it first before we'll know when it will air. Most pilots are never seen by more than the audience at the taping.  Skipping a few steps there. LOL
Usually they just march the line into the studio sooner you get in line the closer to the front you are but most TV studios have very good seats. Often not everyone in line gets in so it is always good to get there early.
Rose, just try to take in as much as you can. I'm sure we will all appreciate whatever you can share.

Yeah I'd like to hear about the taping too. They miscounted the seats. 140 realatives who got VIP tickets were let in first. Then they let the first 50 people in line in. Then they told some more people who were waiting in to go in. Then they choose 11 more people (I was the tenth) and said that there was a possibiltiy that we would get in. Then the 20 people who had gone in came back out because they miscounted the seats and no one got in. Lots of fun especially after waiting in a garage for an hour and a half.

oh Rose that is horrible that you weren't able to get in and had to wait all that time. Maybe one of those "lucky" few will post here.

Oh,Rose. I'm sorry. How disappointed you must be. Let's cross our fingers and hope that the show is picked up. Maybe in a few months they'll have finished Arithmetic for Dummies,the cast members will have been working so hard on the show that they'll be estranged from their 140 relatives, and you'll be able to see a taping then. 
I'm kidding,I know,and I know I would be disappointed if I were you.

LOL. Thanks Jenn I needed that. They said that if the show gets picked up they'll start the filming next year and they gave me a priority ticket so that I can get in without waiting on line. I really really hope it gets picked up. It's strange. Every time I see Bernadette in person or I meet her there is some kind of complication except for the Palm Desert concert which went off without a hitch.

Ugg...I'm tired and annoyed and I wasn't even there.
Well, Rose, look at it this way--with all of your experiences and mis-adventures, someday you will be the wise elder one saying, "Oh, yes, children, I remember when..." and then regale the eager young Fanadettes with amusing first-person stories.
