I´v got two questions about Song and Dance.
1: Is there any dialogue is this show? Or just the songs from the (beautiful) recording?
2: When Bernadette sings ´English girls´, she sing: He introduces me to al his famous friends. And then she say something what I really don´t understand. Does anyone of you what she say?

(I come from the Netherlands, so maybe I spelled some words wrong)

"He introduces me to all his famous friends.
They love to hear me talk, the talking never ends.
He loves to hear me sing "I could have danced all night."
And it's so easy, it couldn't be more easy,
and he keeps saying he can't live without me."

the complete score

I don't know if there was any dialogue when Bernadette did S&D on Broadway, but there was no dialogue (other than some spoken lyrics within a song or two) when I saw "Tell Me on A Sunday" a year and a half ago or so. (TMOAS is the "Song" portion of S&D).

The entire first act is sung. What you hear on the recording is what you get on stage.

martijn...
she says "he introduces me to all his famous friends..." and then says really cutely in speaking "charmed, delight" between that first line and "they love to hear me talk..."

"It was like being high when you reach those high notes."
