Does anybody know if Bernadette Peters will be performing in LONDON any time in the near future. Watched Mr Producer last night and am hooked (GOBSMACKED TO USE AN ENGLISH EXPRESSION !). As a new fan, would like to know if any videos/dvd show titles are available that fans would rate as a must have?

There is talk of her possibly taking Gypsy over there; but I don't know how much truth there is to that rumor.
Gypsy was originaly supposed to open in London and then come to Broadway...but after 9-11, plans were changed.

To answer your question about what videos/dvd are a must, I'd say get anything you can! But I would think that the videos of her 2 Broadway Sondheim shows and her London concert are essential and should be available in London.
"Sunday in the Park with George" and "Into the Woods"-Sondheim;
"Bernadette Peters in Concert, Live from Royal Festival Hall London" 1998 (acornmedia.com if not on amazon.com);
As a fan, you might want to look at/own any movie she's ever been in --"imdb.com" can give you a list, as can this site. Not sure what's available in London. Also, please consider her CD's-from the latest ("BP Loves Rodgers and Hammerstein", 2002) to the earliest ("Bernadette"-1992 compilation of 1980-81 recordings), she's sensational.
Click on the "CDs and Film" section of this site (in the left-hand column) and you'll find a good listing of her movies and CDs.
