I'm not sure if I've ever posted here, but anyway. I'm seeing "Gypsy on Saturday afternoon. I'm very, very excited. I'll post about the show and of my meeting Bernadette (hopefully.) I leave tomorrow for NYC. Wish me luck, kids!

I saw Gypsy. Bernadette was fantastic. Words cannot describe how brilliant she was. Afterwards my mother and I met her at the stage door. Seeing as how there was a blizzard in NYC Saturday nite, we were the only ones waiting. So we were finally invited in the stage door to keep warm. Then after about a minute, this tiny little woman, wrapped up in a beige colored coat and white sweater w/ a matching scarf came around the corner and said "I hear you two have been waiting to see me." Needless to say my mom and I went completely nuts. We got our picture taken with her, and she signed my Gypsy program. It was the best 2 minutes in my entire life. The past weekend was just picturesque. We also saw Mamma Mia! which I loved too, just not nearly as much as I loved Gypsy.

Extra cool!! She's just the best!! THE best!!
[Isn't it a shock how tiny she is? But doesn't seem so at all on stage.]
Good things came to those who waited!! Great story.
