I was thinking of seeing Brooklyn, but I have not heard too many reviews about the show. I saw wicked last year and that was awesome. So, if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. Thanks.

It sounds like it has a pop-rock score that was designed to appeal to younger people who may prefer that sound to more traditional theatre music. I wouldn't like it, but if you're a high school or college student then you might. Maybe someone here has actually seen it though, and can give more specific information?

From: NYC | posted: 1/24/2005 at 11:44:26 AM ET I saw Brooklyn in previews. It was HORRIBLE. As the Times reviewer said, there is no intermission because they are afraid people wouldn't return after it. They are right. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
I would add La Cage Aux Foilles and Little Women to your list as possibilities.
