Anybody know if Bernadette likes baseball? She's a New Yorker but has a place in Miami and really likes it, right?
Yanks or Marlins?

Sorry... side note... I don't know if Bernadette likes baseball, although I feel like I remember her saying in an interview once that it is her favorite sport to watch on TV.
If anyone has tickets to Game 2 that they'd be willing to sell, PLEASE email me- I'm trying desperately to get tickets.
Thanks!
Molly

I posed this question, but it came out Anon. did I check the box? oh, well. Whatever.
I'm a native of Miami, but a Red Sox fan (I'm feeling a little better, so I posted). I love my Dolphins, but have never gotten into the Marlins, esp after they were sold after winning the WS. Bernadette's from Queens tho, isn't she? Maybe she likes the Mets(?).
I'm hoping to ask Ms. Peters about Miami if I see her at the stage door again.
Let's see if I click the right place...

"From jeanmd: Favorite color? Favorite sport? Favorite magazines?
Bernadette responds: Like a mauvey/pinkey/violent [Jean's aside--gee, I hope she meant violet!]. Basketball or baseball on TV, because I like to look at the close-ups. If you mean a sport that I actually do, it would be skiing. I love magazines, but I don't think I have any particular. what I like to do is when I'm at an airport, I'll just grab a couple, even though usually there are other things I should be reading!"

But that's not to say that it's a rule and that the boroughs are evenly split up like that. But If I had to guess what team she liked, I would guess Mets. Who knows though.
By the way Molly, my brother has tickets to the 7th game, but he's selling them for A LOT of money. He's keeping one ticket for himself, and selling the other 2. Email me if you're interested, and I can ask him how much he wants for them.

Edit: Much like most things in the U.S., we call it world but we really just mean U.S. Nothing like a big ego. :-)
"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing.
