Hi everyone! I was looking through my Bernadette Peters list on my Tivo and a movie called "Ace Eli and rodger of the Skies" came up. Anyone know anything about it? Worth seeing? It's on next Sunday I think.

I have never heard of that movie being on television and it is not available on video. Record it, Record it, Record it! It was Bernadette's film debut. I heard it was not very good but hey, if you are a true Bernadette fan, you'll want to see it.
I think I better go and check my Tv listings.

For those of you in Manhattan it is on FoxM channel 257. I think this might only be on Time Warner digital cable but I'm not sure.

I bought a copy of it through ebay a while back, and,yes,it cost over forty dollars. It's a low-budget, not very good movie starring the ever boring Cliff Robertson. This movie is so dull I couldn't watch it all the way through even once. After about ten minutes I just fast-forwarded to the parts that Bernadette was in. She's in a few short scenes in the middle playing a small town prostitute of the 1920s. She's very cute and gives her usual excellent performance, but the part is such an annoying stereotype. Oh, and there's also an obnoxious freckle faced child actor who is apparently supposed to be charming but isn't. Despite all this, if you're a fan you will definitely want to tape this rarity.
