Although, I heard a new title might be "Liza for MAC" ( who knows if the title will stay the same though). Her line will be available October 2nd through December 2003. Anyways, it got me thinking -- Bernadette should totally be a spokesperson for MAC as well ( or any cosmetics company for that matter) considering MAC is the "official" make up used in the current production of Gypsy (atleast as far as I know it is). I am pretty positive that atleast Bernadette wears MAC as Mama Rose every night. How awesome would it be if Bernadette had her own line of makeup?! Her youthfulness and beauty are pretty much a trademark of hers and has been a much talked about topic in magazines and so on.
Just for the record-- I did not start this topic to start any posts about how Bernadette is more beautiful than Liza because I personally think they're both very beautiful. And I think by now we all know any posts like that would probably start an argument. The new ads of Liza ( set to be in stores sometime around October) are gorgeous! And it looks like she's lost even more weight.
PS-- Liza has been in the recording studio this month (or will be recording soon) to record a new album featuring duets with "contemporary artists." I can't wait until its released!

A Bernadette make-up line would be muuucchhh better, since she always seems to look lovely. What could they possibly sell under Liza's name? Fake eyelashes? I personally think they should capitalize on someone who has as good a taste in make-up as personality...Bernadette would be perfect!
By the way, I have an eyeshadow from Benefit that's called "Gypsy Rose"...it must be named after the character, right? Maybe they use Benefit, but you guys probably know better than me.

I think the photos are in Women's Wear Daily magazine( the issue that came out today). Liza is featured in it.
And actually false eyelashes will be part of her line LOL...as well as eyeshadows, mascara, lip sticks, lip pencils...ect.
I'm almost positive Bernadette wears false eyelashes for Gypsy...its not a crime LOL

I have nothing against fake eyelashes...when they are used in a show! I actually think they are very cool looking, but who wears them on a regular basis? I don't see Bernadette parading around town with 4 inch lashes flapping around. In fact, I have yet to see that in the last 15 years!

Registered: 6/25/2003 | posted: 6/27/2003 at 11:38:07 PM ET On a regular basis? Come on. Correct me if I'm wrong, but MAC is make-up line sold all over the country and I don't think they are going to fly with the majority of their customers...probably about 95% of them are not in the theater industry and don't really need them to go to the grocery story LOL.

If there was no need or want for them then they wouldn't exist anymore, but they do
Actually a LOT of people in the industry do use MAC though. I think its because of the boldness of their colors and all.
How did this topic turn into false eyelashes?? LOL!

Registered: 6/25/2003 | posted: 6/28/2003 at 10:35:36 AM ET LOL, lets just agree to disagree. I won't be buying any fake eyelashes, but whoever wants to can for all those events they apparently so desperately need them for!
I love MAC make-up but I wear it on a regular basis, not just when I'm performing. I think most people who wear it probably aren't involved with the theater anyways. But you're right, they do have a really good selection of eyeshadow and lip colors so it probably would be ideal for make-up artists to use.

That's what I meant though, that( a lot) people in the industry do wear MAC on a regular basis-- not only when they're on onstage but off as well. Anyways, I love MAC and swear by it LOL For someone as pale as me its hard to find foundations but I found a great one with MAC.

I don't swear by any particular make-up...I like Benefit, NARS, and all the stuff you can buy at drugstores too LOL. MAC is so expensive that I only buy the important stuff there! I'm pretty pale too (I can't even tan...I just get burned to a crisp!) and my foundation is Perscriptives. They do custom foundations and and mix it so that it looks perfect.

| posted: 6/28/2003 at 4:22:11 PM ET Well, one thing is for sure: The drag queens will be thrilled to have fake eyelashes like Liza's LOL
I think she is a very beautiful woman, and I like the fact that she wears bold make-up (sometimes it's a little too much; but that's Liza for ya).
Bernadette could still be a spokesperson for them. Those 2 women have very different make-up styles. Though, what would be even better would be if Bernadette was a spokesperson for whatever hair products she uses! Because her hair is even more famous than her flawless skin.

I alternate between Graham Webb products and Biologe-- which I LOVE LOL....not that anybody really cares haha

My favorite make-up product, Bobbie Brown Essentials eyeshadows. And any kind of lipgloss that doesn't feel like gook and keeps my lips moist and shiny.
LOL I'm so girley. I can talk about make-up, hair products, clothes, and accessories all day.

Registered: 6/25/2003 | posted: 6/28/2003 at 7:37:58 PM ET I'd never heard of Graham Webb hair products until some of my gal pals with curly hair were talking about them. My hair is straight straight straight! Sometimes I wish it had more personality, but then I think of all those poor girls who have to spend so much time just to make sure their hair isn't frizzy.
Curly hair is so pretty and fun, but it must take an awful a lot of patience to put up with!
While on this topic, Bernadette must have one good wig cap to keep all that hair under control when she wears the Gypsy wig!
