Katharine Hepburn just died. I'm literally in tears.

This is a shame. A real shame. The entertainment commmunity has lost a great leading lady. It's times like this -- when someone passes away -- that you realize just how short and precious life is.

Oops, sorry. I posted about this in Theatre Chat because I was under the impression that non-Bernadette related topics are supposed to go there. I didn't know someone had put it here.

I heard about it early this evening and I just couldn't believe it! I know she lived a long life, but it's just always so shocking to hear when someone dies (espcially someone who is such an icon). She was one of my favorite actresses.

The lights will dim on Broadway this Tuesday.
