I finally got the latest issue of Show People magazine in the mail today. I've been checking my mail box like a lonely old person for the past week! LOL
Bernadette looks stunning on the cover; her dress is beautiful. I thought the shoes were a little casual for that particular dress, but then again Sam Mendes was in a simple pair of Jeans with a black turtle neck (he looks very nice too), so I guess it was meant to be casual.
One thing I don't like is how every couple/duo (whatever you want to call them) is up against a lime green background (except on the cover). Lime Green is not flattering in a magazine. I also thought it was a little odd that they had Bernadette change into a different outfit for the inside photo, and yet Sam is wearing the same thing he wears on the cover. They should have done like a dressy photo for one pic, and a casual one for the other.

The magazine covered some opening night shows (including Nine), however Gypsy was not one of them. Leaves me something to look foward to in the next issue

I think the next issue should have the Three Strippers from Gypsy on the cover, and then have a lengthy article with interviews from each lady. That would make for an interesting read.

How sad! Now I have to wait until the end of summer to get the next issue. I don't mind that it only comes 4 times a year, but at least make it thicker (LOL that just sounded so bad...please don't misinterpret. I'm talking about the magazine, not a guy).

Anyone else notice how her skirt in the second photo cost $1,010? Does anyone know who makes the dress she's wearing?

I haven't gotten the magazine yet but I'm thinking maybe Donna Karan? She likes Donna Karan a lot.

LOL, I just saw the Donna Karan posse outside a hotel in New York last week. When I stopped to see what all the craziness was about, I realized it was her ordering around a poor staff who was apparently hanging up her designs incorrectly!

At the bottom of the Table of Contents, it lists the info for the cover clothes. The dress is made by Diane von Furstenberg ($265) and the shoes are Jimmy Choo's ($445).

Oooo I like Diane von Furtstenberg's collection...she seems to do a lot of black..which is what I wear a lot of Haha But I am much more of a Donna Karan fan! She seems to make clothes that are #1 very stylish #2 pretty comfortable and #3 not too ecentric...something any woman could wear. I like Jimmy Choo's too--its good for someone like me that is pretty short to have the option of looking like I'm taller in those heels LOL

Jimmy Choo...well my God, how can you not like his shoes? Sometimes when I watch Sex and the City I'll sit there drooling over those stacks of Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo boxes in Carrie's closet...if only! Unfortunately, I'll be hanging tight in my one pair of Nine West heels until I get out of school!
