From Marc Shaiman's Facebook, courtesy of "Allthatchat":
"From Facebook: "Tonight on SMASH Scott & I travel Off-Broadway, writing a song for HIT LIST, which is sung gorgeously by Jeremy Jordan. It's a sad song. Also sad tonight is the fact that they only used about 10 seconds of the production number we wrote for Bernadette Peters. Here - with it's fabulous Jonathan Tunick orchestration - is the recording of the entire song which you can purchase on iTunes and film your own full length version of."

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 5/27/2013 at 4:38:34 PM ET I loved that they used the actual video of Bernadette's acceptance speech for her Tony win for Annie Get Your Gun. And I loved her red gown. And I loved her aggressive but not mean advice to her daughter. I'll miss seeing Bernadette on television, even for a few fleeting moments.
And I'll miss the soap opera that was Smash: sometimes ridiculous, sometimes wonderful (the songs, the choreography). A good idea gone ... poof!
