| posted: 5/28/2010 at 4:01:50 PM ET I've been following this rumor on the chat boards and completely agree. I am not a fan of Stritch and would much prefer Bernadette opposite Angela. Though I'd be there in a minute either way. Guess we'll just have to wait and see
"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing. The muse is dressed like Oz, sounds like Queens and behaves like a bored student adviser." Alice Film Review, The New York Times, December 25, 1990
"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987

What's your source? I don't want to get my hopes up if it doesn't work out BUT it's hard to not get excited. I've never seen Bernadette live before!

I think we can look for an official announcement today.

I think I may do student rush if it's still in effect.... I wonder how good the "seats" are. What are the chances they will hold the same rush policy?

| posted: 6/8/2010 at 12:13:06 AM ET I rushed ALNM when I was in NY in January. There are no student rush 'seats'. All rushers stand at the back of the theater behind a rail that has numbered positions on it. All in all, not the most comfortable way to see a show, but if you don't have a lot of money and you can get the tickets, it's worth it. They go fast, though, so you have to get there and sit outside extra early and there aren't many to give away.
