So with this and the upcoming Lifetime movie, it looks like Bernadette's TV niche this year is as a celebrity patient. Last year it was as a celebrity lawyer/judge.

Yes, that is a bandaid. If you look at one of the other pictures, you'll see she has a bad laceration on her cheek. After all her character has just been in an accident.

From the pictures and the press release it looks the freak ice storm causes their limo to crash and the driver goes through the windshield. Looks like Bernadette's character drives the limo to the hospital where they discover something more seriously wrong with Mariette Hartley's character.

Oh, my Lord. That was dreck, crap, garbage!
Bernadette was fine, of course. She said her lines, hit her marks, and managed to get herself through that mess with dignity. The script writers and producers are the ones who need to be embarrassed.
What a crock! Isn't there some legislation that could be passed that would ban TV from existence?

Wow, Karen. I had the complete opposite reaction. I thought the story line was very compelling and Bernadette gave an amazing performance as a woman whose life, as she knows it, is falling apart. I can see why she was singled out in all the reviews that came out today.
