Well last week was Fashion Week and Bernadette was making her rounds of the shows ... there's a few pictures of her up on the news photos sites like Getty, WireImage, etc.
I don't know about anyone else but that shiny blue dress she wore just didn't do it for me, I liked the color on her but the style made her look really short (yes I know she's short but usually she manages pretty well to hide it) and kinda matronly I thought. 
That oughta open up some discussion hehe.

Wow. It really does make her seem short, even with those high heels  I think maybe it's the ribbon coming down the front that is longer than the actual dress, it creates the image that she is too short for the dress, also the dress emphasises her curves, making her appear shorter...although it is a nice dress, just not her style.
I don't know, I'm probably just rambling now

In my ever so 'umble opinion that blue satin dress is simply stunning and Bernadette looks gorgeous in it. Nice to see her in a colour that we don't often see her wear, and aren't short dresses usually recommended wear for women who are short-ish in stature? In one of the photos you see BP sitting on a bench with several other "celebs" who are also wearing short dresses, which possibly means that it was indeed the current fashionable look .
The only time short dresses are inappropriate is when the legs are a bit dodgy ... and Bernadette certainly doesn't have dodgy legs. Go, girl!

I should have been more specific. I dont think that the dress was too short for her, I meant that (to me) she looked slightly short for the dress. I'm probably wrong, as I know nothing about dresses, but the way that I view the photos, I just don't think that that dress suits her as well as others have (although it is a lovely dress). Of course, having poor eyesight could also account for this Haha. Oh well
