Fav. BP Song: Being Alive Fav. BP Show: Sunday In The Park With George
| posted: 10/22/2006 at 8:57:23 PM ET I may have an extra ticket for the Saturday night concert at the Strathmore. Would anyone here be interested? It is a very good seat, Row L, center. The only downside is that you would have to sit next to me, and I am prone to hysteria.

Jenn, you're killing me. Don't you know there are no other duties?
Jean, I double dog dare you to reach up and pat Bernadette on her foot.

Ok Jean, I think I trumped your seats! I've got front row center orchestra seats for both shows.

Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 10/28/2006 at 5:06:39 PM ET Interestingly, I bought my Sunday ticket the day they went on sale to the general public. The ticket for tonight, I just bought this week (even though when I called them a few weeks ago they told me there were no more orchestra seats available.) My procrastination paid off for once.

From: northern VA | posted: 10/28/2006 at 5:17:15 PM ET OMG. I didn't know she was performing tomorrow at 2.
It's RIGHT by the Metro stop. I am checking my credit card balance as we speak.
EDIT: Orchestra tier, row LL seat 104!
I am FREAKING OUT.
I just won't sleep. That's all. Never mind that I got up at 5:30 this AM to go to a conference in Arlington.
Okay...orange line from Vienna to Metro Station, then red to Grosvenor? I think? I've only gone to MD once since I've moved here, and that was Chevy Chase.

From: NYC | posted: 10/28/2006 at 11:02:48 PM ET I'll blog details a little later after I've enjoyed my cocktail...but a passel of Fanadettes followed Dear Jean in the beautiful red satin jacket up the stairs and never could catch up with her speed demononess. OH well.
Bernadette was beyond perfect this evening.

Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 10/28/2006 at 11:28:56 PM ET Jean, we had you until the lobby at which point we completely lost you. It was nice to see KLP, LeeBee, Sister Rose and Jean (at least from a distance.)
The show was amazing. I can't wait to go back and see it again tomorrow. I really enjoyed the Strathmore center! Looked absolutely packed to me and it has many tiers and such that just add to the capacity. There were even people who were basically sitting over the stage.
I think the song list was the same as Naperville(as Jean mentioned.) Rose's Turn was great and I also loved With So Little and Being Alive.
She signed and took pictures for about 10 of us that were waiting at the stage door, or loading dock as it happened to be.
Hope to see some other faces tomorrow at the show...and Jean...I won't miss you!

Only addition to Jean's report, she seemed incredibly relaxed this evening and very comfortable. Thank you Leebee for the extra ticket which prompted me to go. I got to thinking to that if I didn't go now I might not see her again until the end of April and that just simply would not do, my friends.
