This article from the Hartford Courant says that Bernadette was on the taping of the new Martha Stewart daytime talk show:
excerpt--
"I should have had a clue that the subject of prison reform, while perhaps weighing on Martha's mind, was not going to fit into this particular show, which also featured a how-to on aging a plastic flower pot, the cooking of sea bass stove-top and the attempt to train Broadway star Bernadette Peters' out-of-control mongrel..."

I'll have to dig up when and where this airs--I had not planned on watching, but now...
I don't know when the show with Bernadette airs, but the "Martha" daytime talk show Premieres Sept 12, syndicated

I can't wait (only one more day until Martha is free)! I bet that the "mongrel" will be Kramer. It should be a fun segment at any rate.

My Stepmother works for that show. I didn't even know Bernadette had been there to tape it. Now I will have to yell at her (my stepmother that is). lol But Anyway, I'll ask her when it's going to air.

Accoring to the online tvguide, the guests for the first 2 "Martha" shows will be Marcia Cross (Sept. 12) and David Spade (Sept. 13).

I was watching the Today Show this morning and Martha was on talking about her show. They showed clips that included Bernadette and her dogs jumping on this table in Martha's studio. It was humorous to say the least! I was like "You can't miss Bernadette's red curly hair even though the clip was a total of 30 seconds"!!!

You can go to MSNBC's site (www.msnbc.com) and they have the video of Martha's interview on this morning's Today Show. The brief clip that includes Bernadette is shown a couple of minutes into the interview. It looks like Stella is trying to jump up on Martha's work table with Kramer and Bernadette standing nearby.

Oh my God! That was hysterical. I must admit I paused it for Stella's big jump. 
Though it sounds like these were all just practice shows since the show is supposed to be live. Does this mean we won't ever see the episode with Bernadette or will she just come back to do a live episode?

Extra showed a different bit where Bernadette appeared to be, what can only charitably be described as, slapping paint on an oversized clay pot with all the finesse of a child. Unfortunately my fingers were too slow to the record button.

For some reason I am reminded of the scene in "Runs In The Family" where she is in the kitchen asking everyone what they want for dinner, and she sort of absent mindedly opens a jar of olives when someone says "fish". Mmmmm...fish and olives!

Did anybody find out if the Martha show with Bernadette will be airing? Seems to me the one who has the stepmother working for Martha should be letting us know! Ahem, ahem, Christine! I mean - come on!
Just me - incredibly sad that Angie lost the Emmy again
