One of the funnier ones was when the robot baby inadvertantly comes upon his parents in a romantic interlude and they start making lame excuses about how they were checking each other's power packs (or something).
The whole thing was mildly amusing in this laidback, druggy, purposely dumb kind of way. But only really worth getting if you either worship Bernadette, or have no standards whatsoever.
I'll be at the store, buying it tomorrow. See ya there.

| posted: 9/14/2005 at 7:57:17 AM ET Legend has it that whenever Andy Kaufmann met someone who had actually gone to the theater and seen the movie, he would pull out his wallet and give the person their money back.
I was a young dude when I first saw this movie, and I liked it then. Looking at it now, it rather looks like a kid's comedy, almost like a weird precursor to what we see on Noggin or Nickelodeon now. Maybe that's its appeal. It's an odd one to pick for DVD release, that's for sure. I'm waiting for Silent Movie!!

So Karen, can we assume you fall into the worship category and not the no standards whatsoever category?
