| posted: 3/12/2005 at 9:55:10 PM ET The first thing that comes to mind is absolutely amamzing! Bernadette had on a great white dress. It looked kind of like the one she wore at the Royal Festival Hall. She started with Let Me Entertain You. She sang No One Is Alone, There Ain't Nothing Like a Dame, Mr. Snow, Some Enchanted Evening, Fever, Faithless Love, Move On, Children WIll Listen, Unexpected Song and Rose's Turn. I'm sure I missed a few. She told a few great stories and she ended with a really nice song by Irving Berlin. After the show I waited at the stage door and after last night I can honestly say that she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I'll post some pics later.

Registered: 6/26/2003 | posted: 3/13/2005 at 3:09:01 AM ET Here's my quick report of the March 12th concert. Started about 8:05 ended around 9:40. Majority of the crowd had to be at least 10 years past the age of retirement which meant some of them couldn't sit for 90 mins without having to exit periodically.
Anyway here's the songlist, I think in order.
Overture (Carnegie Hall one)
Let Me Entertain You
No One Is Alone
Nothin' Like a Dame
Fever (Terrific replacement for Sooner or Later)
Gentlemen is a Dope
I'm Flying
Unexpected Song
Mr. Snow
Time Heals Everything
Faithless Love
Some Enchanted Evening (Goregeous, best I've heard her sing it)
Not A Day Goes By
You Could Drive a Person Crazy
My Romance
The Way You Look Tonight
With So Little to be Sure of
Children Will Listen
Move On
Being Alive
Rose's Turn (Wow!)
Count Your Blessings (Lovely new encore. After attending some 20 concerts since the late 80s was great to hear something other than I'll Be Seeing You)
Her gown looked like the one she wore during Act II Radio City -- Silvery, spaghetti strap, very sparkly.
Fun tidbit. She said that she remembered that 1996 was the last time she was here because Palm Springs was where her husband proposed to her -- at the Hamburger Hamlet(?) When people applauded, she said something like at my age it was something to applaud

PTM-thanks for the "proposal" little story--she should use that more, it's somehow charming. (20 concerts--WOW--you must get the prize. You also must have seen how she's changed, and maybe not, over the years?)

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 3/13/2005 at 6:42:57 PM ET I used to eat lunch occasionally at the Hamburger Hamlet in Chicago(long defunct). It was a very kitschy spot. I can still remember the lobster bisque, the "zucchini zircles," and the "nude burger." Was Bernadette dipping a zucchini zircle in her apricot sauce when she was proposed to?

| posted: 3/13/2005 at 7:56:20 PM ET Fever was amazing. One of the most memorable songs for me. The intro was really cute. She said that she loved listening to music especailly legands and that she had wanted to sing this one for awhile and that this was her first time so please be gentle with her. I also forgot to mention before. Before she sang I'm Flying she talked about how Mary Martin was one of her heros and that the first first time she saw Peter Pan she went to bed crying because she couldn't fly.

Fever was incredible. I think one of the best...but of course, you can't beat Move On and Alive. But the whole show was brilliant--I think even if I hadn't seen her afterwards I would have been satisfied just after watching her perform.
