This is apparently one of San Francisco's big fundraisers. I think tickets started around $$1,500 (not sure if that was single ticket price or table). Here's a blub from SF. Chronicle
Raising Hope" event co-chairs (Nanci and Gary Fredkin, Cathy and Mike Podell) barely got invites in the mail before the March 14 gala sold out. Set on Treasure Island, ducats to UCSF's Comprehensive Cancer Care Center fund-raiser yield a double-delight performance by Bernadette Peters and Tommy Tune

Talked to someone who happened to have attended this event. First thing, practically the only thing, she did was gush about Bernadette, and I didn't even bring her up.
