I just watched the movie "David." I had seen it once before, many years ago, but I was too young to remember that Bernadette was in it (and then it was never on after I found out she was a part of it).
But WOW! What a good movie! I really think that was one of her finest acting roles. What do the rest of you think, that have seen it?
And, again, her name was Marie! LOL

I used the picture of her hugging the kid for my St. Patty's Day thing  That's all I really know about it, though.

Kevin, I hope you get a chance to see it. That movie just proves what a great mother she would have been. It really was one of her best.

I watched it today too. I was actually babysitting, and the mom got home and I didn't want to leave b/c I wanted to finish the movie!! I have seen it before, but the copy that I have isn't GREAT quality, but it is a really good movie.
For those who haven't seen it: Matthew Lawrence plays a little boy (David) and Bernadette plays Marie, his mother. David is sort of kidnapped by his father (Marie's ex-husband) and then he sets him on fire and David is covered in 3rd degree burns. It is really about their (David and Marie's) struggle coping with the tragedy. Its a very sad but very good movie.
