I was just wondering if Bernadette has ever appeared in a stage production/television program/movie that required her to change the color of her eyes using colored contact lenses (i.e green, blue, or another color)?

Does anyone know because in all of my encounters with Bernadette's work her eyes have always been dark brown.

Thanks guys

In The Last Best Year she did put yellow drops in her eyes to slightly distort the color in an effort to make her self look sickly. To my knowledge, that is the only time and isn't quite what you were asking anyway.

Thanks for responding...I've never seen that movie (although I would love to) and I appreciate your post. It is definitely what I was asking! hehe.

Bernadette's so real-to-life in that movie. That's the exact way it was with my grandmother a few years back.

What I meant is that is the exact way my grandmother felt and dealt with her cancer. She was hesitant to open up about it, but in the end she relented to spend her last days with her family members who cared about her. She died at home like Bernadette did in the movie.
