If you could add anything to the GYPSY CD (songs, or dialouge) what would you add?

I'd add the lines when all the people during the crossover are talking about Louise right before she does the strip, and i'd also add GYPSY's dialogue when she's DOING the strip..(during the Minkski's part)

what would you add?

The traveling sequence and the underscoring for when Louise gets ready for the strip. Also the underscoring for when Rose walks out for Rose's Turn.

I'd add the reprise of "Together, Wherever We Go", followed by the honky-tonk music that accompanies the transition into the burlesque house. Also, the full version of "Dainty June and Her FarmBoys."

It would be so cool if there was a live recording of the last performance! It was killer!

I would like the whole dialogue when they are all in the room after surprising Louise with the cake, I love the part when the boys are talking about the cow, and when mama rose is pretending she is getting sexually assaulted, and herbie says again? lol I think thats great

I wholeheartedly agree about the underscoring before Rose's Turn. It's so incredibly eerie and made my heart almost skipped a beat when I first saw it.

I also think the underscoring when Rose is frantically trying to get the score in order before Gypsy's strip should have been included. That moment was one that was imbedded in my memory the first time I saw it. The utter desperation that Rose shows during that scene is so tragic.

Oh my gosh I know. At that part, I totally and completely lost it. tears just began rolling down my face. I was soooooo moved by her performance there - it was amazing. I would love to be able to hear it on the recording. Every time i listen to Rose's Turn, I always picture the dialogue right before it. wow.

The whole show. Is that an option or just wishful thinking? I'd like all of Baby June's first act to be there about how some people thank their fathers, most people thank their mothers etc. I'd also like to see the whole confrontation between Rose and Gypsy, everything Gypsy says during the strip and everything that is said after Rose's Turn. And also the complete version of Together Wherever We Go.

I'd add the reprise of "Together, Wherever We Go"

Elmo, what reprise do you mean? I know there is the first part of the song which ends with them landing on each others laps on the basket....and then a second part when they finish by clanking the dishes. Both parts are on the cd, they're just mushed together without any dialogue in between.

I think they are referring to the part where the say, "We go in a group, we tour in a troupe, the things we do we do by threes we go together no this way Louise". That was definately in the show when I saw it for the second time but it's not on the CD.
