Hey guys, I usually don't do this but for those attending the last performance, would you all want to meet up somewhere before the show. I'm going to be going with my sister and its much more fun in a big group especially of Fandettes. Just a though.

Lets all bring roses to the show and THROW THEM at the stage during the applause after Rose's Turn!! I've always wanted to see that happen. And lets face it... BP is worth it! Haha!

I can see it now! At the curtain call Berndette looks up and sees a horde of screaming people running down toward the stage with something in their hands. Hopefully, she won't freak out --- just joking.

In all, it sounds like fun so count me in.

Brandon-sometimes I can't tell if you're kidding or not. However,I think rushing the stage throwing something (or throwing from your seat) would be a good way to get evicted from the theater....people are very on edge these days...

And EGGROLLS!!
Not for throwing at the stage, of course.
But eating them for lunch outside before the show.

Roses thrown on the stage after 'Rose's Turn' would be awkward, and break up the performance (the likely thunderous standing Os will be enuf there, anyway). And, besides, I doubt I'd be able to see through the tears....
But when the backdrop lifts and Bernadette walks out for the last time...oh, my. My stomach knots up just thinking about that moment.
I would think that, then, people could walk up and toss roses onto the stage -- downstage, not at her.
Hey, I'd be happy to toss one for Jean (what color?)

lol Maybe we can through money on the stage in encouragment to keep the show going longer.

Or better yet, dollar bills made into the shapes of roses!

I didn't think people would be rushing down the aisle to throw roses at the stage. In the middle of the show!!! Maybe I am just living in a Lifetime movie where this stuff usually happens. Ok, bad idea. I would say we could give them to her at the stage door, but I would imagine the cast will be staying a while after the show, so that probably won't do either. Oh well... maybe we could just give her a lot of applause! :-P

Well,Brandon, people will occasionally throw roses (and stuffed animals) at figure skating events (exhibitions more so than competitions). They have local little girls skate out and collect them. That's about the only place where I've seen something like that happen.

Okay... I'm sorry!! I apologize. And I agree this is a bad idea. Lets keep the roses to ourselves, and maybe pass them along at the stage door. Much more ethical... and probably less distracting and dangerous. I say a lot of dumb thing without thinking So... lets MOVE ON...

I'll be front row in 3 weeks, and was planning on tossing a few roses onto the stage after Rose's Turn.

Brandon, hon,no need to feel embarrassed. It was a darling and innocent suggestion. It's just that in this age and time, probably not feasible. I'm sorry I made you feel bad-that wasn't my intention at all! Sometimes I kid and I forget that on the Internet, that's not always apparent.

BTW-an unsolicited movie review. We just got back from seeing 13 Going on 30. A nice, silly movie. Jennifer Garner is too cute. Some guys may not understand the 80s trends,as was made clear to the women tonight. I guess it's one of those "had to be there" kind of deals. I didn't have a traumatic teenhood, but still wouldn't want to go back to being 13! I wouldn't even want to go back to being an undergrad.
