Yesterday I broke one of my cardinal rules--never interrupt an actor when they're eating. So, I'd just like to state for now and forever that John Dossett is a gracious, down-to-earth, generous, just plain nice GENTLEMAN, for allowing me to interrupt his pre-matinee lunch for a quick picture and brief chat.

(I think that the really nice actors make you love them just a little bit--in an odd, unreal, other-worldly way.)

And he has gorgeous hair!
I'd just love to run my fingers through those curls.

He was so great and cute with his son last Saturday night. John was signing autographs and the little boy called out to him from over by the Marriott, and John called back something like, "Hey, Buddy, I'll be there in a minute."
The little one was just as cute as Dad.

I think I have said it here before but I'll say it again, I AM IN LOVE WITH JOHN DOSSETT. The hair, the smile, the voice, the sweet nature and now an adorable father to boot. I spoke with him once and he was so humble, kind and gracious and I saw him interviewed at Seth's Chatterbox. Michele Pawk, you are one lucky woman!

Although I had probably seen Dossett in Hello Again, I first took notice of him when he played father in the Los Angeles production of Ragtime. I remember thinking how much more I prefered this actor's voice and looks to Mark Jacoby and wishing that he, not Jacoby, was going to be playing the part when the show finally opened in New York.
