Hi, I've been a Bernadette fan since I saw the video of Into the Woods in elementry school (now a senior in high school) but I've never seen her live. This spring break I'll be going to New York and I will finally be able to see her in Gypsy. I just have a few questions though.

1. Where is a good place to get some tickets?
2. I've heard people on the board say that they have met Bernadette after the show. I would love to get an autograph and a picture. Could you please explain how I could do this and how long I would have to wait outside for her to come out?

Thanks.

I'd say the best place to buy tickets is at www.telecharge.com and in advance to get the best possible seats.

Basically, at the end of the show you leave the theatre and walk into Shubert Alley and to your left there will be a set of barracades set up and probably a good sized crowd. Go to the barracades and stand there. I've done this about 3 or 4 times and the amount of time it takes is 25 mins to an hour but its well worth it! She signs and talks to as many people as possible and get out there quick enough to get to the front of the barracade. Don't run anyone over though! Also, she doesnt come out after matinees..only night shows.

Go to the official website
www.gypsythemusical.com

Yesterday there was a discount popup that goes into early April and can be used when purchasing tickets.

Hey narrator, in my experiences meeting Bernadette (3 times), its best to meet her before the show at the stage door wich is right in Shubert Alley. This technique of meeting her before is better than after the show because you are the only one there and she doesn't rush you to sign other poeple's stuff. She's also more relaxed (in my opinon). She usually gets to the theater at 4:30- 5:15PM. Its best to be prepared during these experiences...AKA have eveyrthing out you want her to sign and DO NOT forget to bring a sharpey pen,...cause they don't have one! Also be ready to take a quick pic with her. Thats it!
