Hi everyone!!!!!!
I just got back this morning from NYC! I left last night at 7pm, and because of the weather it took us 12 hours to drive back!!!! I got home and crashed until now!!! I definitely missed my first day of classes......my profs will not be happy!
ANYWAY, the scrapbook! I worked on it for three full days before I left and I loved it! I am addicted to scrapbooking now! I loved receiving everyones letters and pictures in the mail and through the internet! If you sent me something it was in the book, so don't worry. If you sent me a picture and a message I made a whole page out of it, and I included the table of contents that some people had suggested!
I have to say that Bernadette, Ms. Peters, BP, loved it. She seemed genuinely happy and touched that we had decided to make the book. I had also included a few old articles about her that I think she enjoyed. I gave her the address to the site, so who knows, she might be online some day!
I had planned to wait for her Saturday morning before the matinee to give her the scrapbook because I didn't want to bother her inside the theatre. However, I bumped into Kate (bliss) and she knew about the scrapbook and offered to take me backstage after Thursday's show. I was very grateful because I definitely would not have asked myself! She is really one of the kindest people!
I got pictures for you guys that I will scan asap. I don't have a scanner here at school so I will have to wait until I go to my parent's house.
Umm what else......Bernadette was just really nice. The performance was incredible! I have seen the show 4 times and every time it gets better and better!!! The cast seems to be really close and I think that comes through on stage. Bernadette's voice is in top form and the Gimmick scene was a riot as always. The children have impressed me since the first time I saw it and they impressed me again! They were wonderful.
I really hope everyone feels good about the scrapbook. I'm telling you, Ms. Peters loved it and appreciated it! I got to talk to her for a few minutes but, of course, everything I really wanted to tell her somehow escaped my memory!!!

Erika,
Thank you so much for putting this all together. It was a wonderful idea and I know it took you a lot of work to create. I'm glad Bernadette appreciated it, although I think we all knew she would. I'm glad, also that you had fun at the show, and jealous because I wasn't there. Oh, and thanks Kate (bliss) for letting Erika backstage to give the scrapbook to BP. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we appreciate it. Anyway. Scrapbook! Yay us!! hehe

Linnie called me FROM NYC but that was on Sunday, before she saw BP. I've been off of my screen name for a few days due to moving, so I have no idea how it went!

Thank you so much for the kind words everyone. I was really no big deal and I loved making the scrapbook. I'm just glad that Bernadette now knows how much she means to everyone! That was the whole point and I think we succeeded!
