So I was visiting New York again this week, and decided to check out GYPSY and see if there were any differences from when I saw it last June. The show has really grown since last year! Tammy was out, but her understudy Ginifer King was awesome! She did Louise as the fragile, forgotten daughter so well during the first part...I wasn't sure she'd be able to pull off the strip (that's always my fear - you usually get one or the other). But WOWIE, talk about beautiful and talented. She blew the lid off it! Who is this person? Her bio says she's done stuff in Chicago...does anyone know if she's done any other big stuff?

I don't know anything about her, but I saw her in November and thought she was excellent. When I saw Gypsy in late summer I had seen Tammy Blanchard, but while she was good she just didn't seem comfortable in the role yet. I thought Ginifer seemed much more at ease. I then saw Tammy again in February and thought she had really grown into the role.

I actually went to school with Ginifer all throughout Junior and High School. I know a good deal about her, she is a superb actress. I performed with her on stage many times, and she was always one of the leading ladies.
She I think is up to some very good things and will be doing some good things in her future. She was always a good friend to me and I will always support her professional career, even if it is just to go watch her perform
