Anyways. lol

Just a morning joke, kids...
(When I saw George M! I had no idea who Bernadette was, or that I was getting my first look at the performer who I would be writing about 36 years later!)

I went home after the show that night and checked my Ragtime playbill and truth be told, I saw it with him in it! So that was a nice suprise because I adore him!
About Annie Get Your Gun, what do you mean Annie? Did you not know she was in it when you saw it? oh my goodness! lol!

No, Bernadette's part wasn't really all that big (she played George's sister) and she didn't have a solo song. I think she was only in the first act (is that right, anyone??).
However she was very energetic and very noticeable; even then she had that certain quality that makes you look at her, no matter what else is happening on stage.

George M was, I believe, when Bernadette first met Joel Grey (George) and started a life long friendship with him. I think she was a perfect casting choice to play his little sister. They are both, um, vertically challenged.

From: Boston | posted: 12/28/2004 at 9:05:12 PM ET I'm listening to John now on the "Hello, Again" cast recording. He has a lovely song called "The Bed Was Not My Own." Donna Murphy joins him later in the song.
