Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 8/3/2005 at 12:03:13 AM ET I'm completely stumped on something. I was watching one of the "Jeff" tapes tonight and there is a clip from something and I have NO idea what it is...
BP is in a recording studio trying to record an R&B album. I think the guy she is aguing with is named Stuart. The producer (Stuart) won't let the original artist sing the song (Tweedle Dee?) because she is not white. It seems to be from a TV show but I can't figure it out.
Come on folks....I know someone knows what this is!

The only thing is, this is not off-topic--it's very on-topic! Off-topic means what are your favorite graphic novels, fad diets, etc.

and even then I liked to do a little more research to get more details, dates and such.

I just recently had mine transferred to DVD so I could maintain the quality.
I wonder if Jeff sells them on DVD now?
*EDIT* lol I just looked at the site. He DOES have them on DVD and has added a 3rd volume. How fun

But my real point, if you've stuck this far: SisterRose, the way I see it, you can get the Barnholdt tapes either via ebay, by emailing Barnholdt (I think he sells them direct), or pleading with one of us (not for public discussion )
But whatever anyone does, buyer beware--tape 3 has mostly things you may already have.

Yeah, I noticed that when reading through what he had. Though part of me still thinks it might be worth buying since mine are scattered all over a bunch of tapes.

From: NYC | posted: 9/11/2005 at 9:43:03 PM ET Hey y'all - I got the Jeff dvds - the first one was stuff I had seen but the second one has all kinds of fun stuff on it. The third one is a concert which I haven't watched yet so I'm not sure where its from. Jeff didn't make chapters and he didn't provide an index, but still they are good. He never responded to my email via his site, but he just happened to go on Ebay w/ it so I bought it t here for $23 w/ s&h.

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 9/12/2005 at 7:21:16 AM ET SisterRose, I think I have a list somewhere of the segments on the first 2 tapes (I don't have the DVD, but probably the same)--I have to go out now for a while, but let me know if you'd like the list.
The concert is from 1979 or 1980, Canada; here's our brief discussion of it:

This concert has one of my all-time favorites--the Arlen medley.
