Am feeling the loss of the tremendous talent of Wally Harper. WOnder about the thoughts of others who heard him many times.

I feel so bad for Barbara Cook; she must be devastated. I wonder if she will have to cancel her tour. I'm still stunned that I saw what was apparently his last performance, on Oct 2 in St Louis. He played with vigor, but appeared weak and ill. Such a brilliant and dedicated musician.

I am wondering the same. I had hoped to see something about his death in the NYTimes, they certainly advertised there enough. Am curious if there have been any statements from Barbara Cook or others.

The obit is in the Times today. I don't think Ms. Cook has made any public announcements.

This is extremely sad. Mr. Harper was enormously talented and he will be greatly missed. I've been listening to my Harper and Cook albums all week.
