Anyways, what I'm getting at is that I am being Bernadette.
I have to prepare text/ monologue to perform as Bernadette. I have to become her and do something- speak to someone and have goals in the monologue.
I just wanted to share this with all of you, and if anyone has any suggestions of to who I (as Bernadette) can talk to, or if there are any particular quirks about her that I should highlight.
We are allowed to use outside help/research/ interviews. If anyone has any interesting quotes that reflect who Bernadette really is I would greatly appreciate you passing that on to me.
Hope to hear from any of you soon!

That speaks volumes about her.
Physically, I would say play with your hair A LOT! She has a very particular way of brushing her hair back from her face. She keeps her hand almost completely flat and uses her palm. I always found that kind of odd. Most people do it with several of their finger tips.

I created a monologue where she's on a date with Michael. I really enjoyed doing it and was in a total "I'm Bernadette today" mode. I loved it.
Because of this, my theater major friends and I plan to have a dinner party where everyone comes as a character/figure/celebrity/etc. and stays in character throughout the party!
Yes- we're strange... but that's theater majors for you.
