Hey guys!

Well, I've decided to take the NY Trip again next summer with my drama department...only problem is we have to have shows picked REALLY soon! I have NO clue what to pick...some suggestions? I went last year and I've already seen...
-Rent
-Aida
-Gypsy
-Cabaret
-Chicago
-Hairspray
-Nine
-Blue Man Group

I'm going to see Rent and Aida again most definatley. But, any suggestions for long running shows that you know about? Oh. I'm seeing Wicked too *wheee*

well since we are on the Bernadette Peters forum and she IS the best of Broadway and gives an out of this world performance, you definately should check out GYPSY!

didn't see that you said you already have seen Gypsy, I thought these were shows you were considering. But if I got the chance to go to NYC again, I would so definately return to Gypsy, I'm trying to go for my 3rd time to see the show on December.

"Thoroughly Modern Millie" is a really good show, and so is "42nd Street". Those should still be playing next summer (though who knows what could happen over 9 months).
I haven't seen it yet, but I heard "Boy From Oz" is really good.

Since you've seen so many Broadway shows, you would definitely enjoy "Forbidden Broadway" which pokes fun at a lot of past and present Broadway Shows. Forbidden Broadway has been playing for 21 years. It's great because it's constantly changing to keep up with current Broadway.

I would definitly consider "Movin' Out". I saw it on Sunday and have been addicted to the cast recording ever since.
