There is a FANTASTIC article on Playbill online about TOFT (Theatre on Film and Tape) and how the archive came to be, and how they went about filming the revivals of GYPSY and NINE.
(For those of you who don't know, TOFT is the archiver of all the videos at the Library for the Performing Arts.)
There's also a really nice section towards the end about one of Bernadette's performances of Rose's Turn, and about the cast gathering in the wings to listen to it, even though they've listened to it from backstage every night.
