I think the stage doors are in Shubert Alley, on the right side of the theatre. I also think that there are 2 doors, and I don't know which one she comes out of.

The only stage door where fans can go to get autogaphs is right in Shubert Alley...you will see barracades set up and probably a pretty large crowd there

I'm just not sure where that is exactly, that's why I was asking because I've only been once before and I hadn't done the signing thing. I'm not sure if I'm doing it Saturday, but it's good to know in advance. I was at the cd signing to, but I didn't know what to say to anyone

Just follow the crowd. A lot of people will be going there. You'll have to wait about an hour for Bernadette, but the other cast members will come out. A woman will be selling stuff for Broadway Barks while you're waiting. When Bernadette comes out, wait for her to come to where you are.

Well I hope I get to go, but probably not because I'm going with my mom and her friend and they'll probably be all tired or something. Thanks for the help though!

They're actually no longer selling things for Broadway Barks at the stage door.

I may sound stupid in asking this, but have there always been barricades at the stage door for shows that Bernadette has been in? (Or any Broadway show, for that matter?) The reason I'm asking this is because when I saw her in Indianapolis, there were no barricades at the stage door. Everyone just waited patiently to approach Bernadette for an autograph.

Thanks a lot!

Barricades are used at shows when you have big names in the cast because they tend to draw a lot of people and it helps with crowd control. I've been told barricades have been used for Bernadette since her Song and Dance days as that was when she really started to attract a lot of theater fans. But they aren't set up for everyone. For instance for the performances when Maureen Moore went on as Rose, barricades were not set up.

Bernadette-Fanatic,

I really like your signature
photo of BP, and don't think I've seen it before.
What's it from?

lol funny you should mention that, anonymous. I saw the picture about 2 weeks ago on some website where she has a lot of pictures. I think it is from a magazine called "More" but I'm really not sure. It's my absolute favorite picture of her.
