might be the fault of your dvd or player. My disk has a photo gallery but it is included within her bio I think. It seems like each page has a new picture.

I came across that problem when I bought the DVD as well, Jenny. Then I realized that on each new page of her bio, there is a different picture of her and, technically, I think that's what they were referring to when they advertised a "photo gallery". (In the loosest sense of the the word!)

I was really hoping that they would have put the entire concert on the DVD. I know they put every song on there, but I still would have liked to have heard the overture, and seen her take her bows, and then come back on for her encores. On the DVD, they just make it look like it's one continuous stream of songs near the end, when she actually went offstage, and then had to come back on for her two encores. ("I'll Be Seeing You and "My Romance/ The Way You Look Tonight") She also made some comment about Cameron Mackintosh in the show, since he was there that evening. (Something about how he never cast her in a show of his?) Sorry. Just a little gripe I have.

I thought she actually gave two concerts and the video was made up of the best shots of both nights. Or was this just at Hey, Mr. Producer? Maybe that's why the CM comment didnt' make it in. And by the way, I'm assuming she was kidding about him never casting her because Song and Dance was a Cameron MacIntosh production - and I believe when their friendship started.

I think the Cameron Mackintosh comment came after the "Raining in My Heart" number. Something about how she was the only person in that number to have never appeared in Les Miserables.

That's just what I remember reading off some website. I could be wrong, but that's where I think the comment is from.

Yes! That's what I was thinking of Jenn! Thanks for clearing that up! I knew the deleted comment she made had something to do with her and Cameron, but I wasn't quite sure what it was.

And yes, "Hey, Mr. Producer" was recorded over two nights. I was looking through my CD and noticed that her hair in the CD jacket was different than the video. The picture of her in the CD sleeve shows her with her hair down (During "Being Alive") and on the video, her hair is up.

yeah but the bio backgrounds are a bit disappointing. I mean, some of them are actually the same pictures but zoomed in.

ok so this has nothing to do with the photo gallery on the dvd, but i have a few ?s for people who have it.

1. can someone please list the songs she sings? i cant seem to find them anywhere online.

2. so ive been reading that this is not an entire concert but just the best of songs from 2 nights of shows? so does she have any dialogue, ya know like mini stories or talking in between songs?

3. what about extras? ive read that there is her bio with pictures, is that all?

these may seem like stupid questions, but i just want to know before i buy it. thanks to anyone who answers me. your help is appreciated!

The Royal Festival Hall concert DVD was not recorded over two concerts. She was on stage, 17th September, 1998 for over two and a half hours and all you see on the DVD was recorded from that one concert appearance at the RFH that night. Lots of chit-chat was cut as were some songs like Making Love Alone ... ah, tis such a shame.
