The focus is of course on the show's design elements with interesting bits on the look and feel Mendes wanted for the production. Some of the changes in Peters' costumes that those of you lucky enough to visit the show throughout its preview period witnessed are also addressed. Ward said that they originally thought that Rose would spend all of her money on the act and they wanted her to look like a "real working mother" but then they decided that might not be correct and her nine costumes were redesigned.

Yes, she was a stage mother who put everything she had into the act; but, she also knew that to be a success you had to dress the part first.
She was an outgoing woman, and that needs to show in her style as well as her mannersims. I really didn't like the costumes during previews. They seemed more like something a housewife would wear...not a woman trying to make hers and her children names known in show business. They're so much better now without being overdone.

(I also read in one of the back issues about Annie Get Your Gun.)

The actual publication has several full cover photos, but I don't think any of them are ones that haven't been seen elsewhere. The nice thing about these photos though are the size. The publication is oversize like the first few months of the old Theater Week magazine.
