Just saw an annoucement that next week's CBS Sunday Morning will have something with Bernadette. After AGYG opened John Leonard, normally their TV critic, did his segment as an appreciation of her saying "she was why we went to any theater and the reason we lived in NY."

Yeah, sorry about the double posting. By the time I finished typing mine up and verifying what John Leonard had said about her in AGYG, Jean had already posted hers.

Hope this will actually be a profile. I've seen reviews of her TV movies and films over the years on that program, but if they've ever featured an actual profile of her in the past decade or so I missed it.

There was one year that the CBS weekday morning program featured performances from the nominated shows the entire week before Tonys. Don't think they've done that much recently though.

I don't know if this is what you are referring to but they are airing a "TONY SPECIAL" ( @ 8:30am Eastern ON CBS) I think its independant of the Early Show although I could be wrong. I was only able to catch the last few seconds of the early show this morning.

It was definitely the CBS News Sunday Morning program that said they were having a profile of her in Gypsy next week. Where did you see/hear about the Tony Special? Is that maybe only something on the NY local CBS station preceding the network program?
