I'm not sure if its the same in the US, but I bought the Into the Woods original cast album today and its a double cd case. I thought to myself that it was quite a long musical, perhaps it does require 2 discs....anyhoo..I opened it up when my mum was clothes shopping to see the booklet and saw that the second disc space was empty! Shock horror, I'd been diddled out of a cd! Hmph! So I marched back (yes marched) to HMV where I explained to the man behind the till. He opened up another one and - sacre bleu - one CD!
It was only upon opening the 3rd case that he noticed a little note down the left-hand side on the front "contains one disc and full colour libretto"....I was positively salmon.

LOL I did something like that once. I bought the soundtrack to "Funny Lady" and was horrified when listening to one of the songs because the cd started to skip! I went back to the store and exchanged it for another "Funny Lady" cd, brought it home, and the cd skipped on the same song. Now, I had never seen the entire movie; so rather than make a fool of myself by returning the cd again, I went out and bought the movie. Turns out that song is supposed to skip.  I was so glad I didn't go back and yell at the people in the music store.

That's so funny that you said that. I did the same thing!! I bought the CD about 3 years ago from Colony when I was in New York once, and it was like $21.50, which is expensive for a single cd. I figured it was 2 CDs, so I actually thought I was getting a good deal!! Now I realize that it is only one, and that the Colony is just really really expensive!

They are way too expensive! I was in there the other day, jut looking around, and they were charging like $21 for cd's that you can get in Virgin Megastore for $15.
