For those of you in the NY area, the show Broadway Beat looks like they will feature Gypsy on the May 18th show.

If you can't get the show, they also sell tapes of the them as well as things like the Easter Bonnet competition and the Nothing Like a Dame benefits.

Do they sell tapes of the actual shows they broadcast? I got the idea from the website that they didn't.

I got the tape on AGYG some time back. I assume it was the same as what was broadcast, but since I've never actually seen a broadcast . . . They send out the tapes fairly quickly too. They do seem to have tapes of other special concerts and such that they won't sell.

Was there any indication of how long the feature would last? If so, (I hate to keep asking members of the board this) would there be any way someone could tape the segment and send me a copy? I have done this in the past and it's always worked out smoothly. I pay the cost of the shipping as well as the cost of the tape. My e-mail address is BernadettePetersFan@yahoo.com

My best friend is getting married and she doesn't live in NYC so life is quite hectic at the moment. However, I will be taping the episode so if no one else is able to get it to you, I should be able to, eventually.

The website allows you to watch the current broadcast online if you have the right player. And here's the link to the page where you can actually purchase Broadway Beat episodes http://www.broadwaybeat.com/PastEpisodeorder.htm.
I'm all for trading tapes and such (anyone have the 1999 Drama Desks that Bernadette hosted?) but when the originating source is selling the material, I would suggest purchasing directly from them. That way you support the program and they can see just how many people are interested in programs featuring Peters. The tape quality is good too.
