I don't want to ruin it for anyone. In the beginning of the movie when they are running the names of who is in the show, they have really nice photos of when Michael, Kirk, and Bernadette were younger. I think they even have one of when she was a girl. It's a great movie and I highly recommend it!

From Internet Network: 216.165.34.x | posted: 4/25/2003 at 6:01:21 PM ET I saw it this morning and also thought it was great. Bernadette definitely shines. One moment in particular, and I won't ruin it either, but she has this moment of 'discovery' in the movie that is simply fabulous!

From: NYC | posted: 4/25/2003 at 9:22:28 PM ET I also just saw it. I thought it was awsome! I really think Bernadette did a great job. She totally stole the show for me. I got so mad at Michael for what he did! (soup kitchen) Anyway, it was a great movie and I think everyone should go see it.

| posted: 4/25/2003 at 9:32:19 PM ET I enjoyed it too. Much more serious than I imagined and kind of a quiet movie but still good. I also thought she was in the movie a lot more than I thought she would be. And I agree about her moment of "discovery". Her emotions turned on a dime and she really did well with it. Had to laugh at the scene when she was telling her youngest son he could ask her anything and boy did he ever! LOL
Did anyone else catch that they used Bernadette's real wedding picture as Alex and Rebecca's wedding picture. They superimposed Michael Douglas' face over Michael Wittenberg's. I think it was still Micheal W's body though. Pretty funny and I loved the picture of her as a little girl. It went by so fast but I'll know when to look for it when I see the movie again so I can get a better look. But there was no mistaking it was Bernadette

The baby pictures sound adorable, I can't wait to see them. Also, I'll have to pay close attention to the wedding photo.
I'm glad to hear that Bernadette is in the movie more than you expected Moljul, because I too did not expect her to be in it much.

The picture of her as a little girl is adorable! And I also cracked up when Eli asked her that. I'm seeing it again Tuesday and I'll be careful to notice all these things again.

From: Long Island, NY | posted: 4/25/2003 at 10:25:34 PM ET I just got back from the movie and it was wonderful! It was funny, it was sad, it was heartbreaking..it was terrific!
As people have said, I don't want to give any real details because I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I have to agree with you moljul...Bernadette's moment of "discovery" was wonderful! And, I absolutely loved her expression/reaction when Eli did as she said and "asked her anything." Boy did he give her a mouthful! LOL That was too funny.
I was really nice seeing all the old photos of everyone. Loved the one of Bernadette as a child. And, yes, I noticed immediately that the wedding photo was Bernadette's real wedding photo with Michael Douglas superimposed in there
It was just a great movie that you should definitely go see if you haven't yet

| posted: 4/26/2003 at 3:24:15 PM ET I'm sure it will be there soon Jenny. I believe you guys usually get movies a couple of months after us. Which is funny, because when CD's and DVD's are released, I've noticed they are usually released in UK first. I guess it all depends on the movie (production studio) and/or artist.

From: Fla | posted: 4/26/2003 at 10:36:53 PM ET Okay, I just got back from the movie. I also couldn't see it last night, because we had "Grad Nite," when they close Disney World and all of the seniors go from about 8 in the evening until about 5 in the morning. Anyway, I saw it tonight and really liked it! I loved the pictures at the beginning- I don't think I've ever seen that specific picture of Bernadette as a little girl. I sort of noticed the same things as everyone else. She was in the movie a lot more than I expected, I loved when Rory asked her his question, etc. I did think there were some awkwards moments, but I really liked the movie!! In like the 4 or 5 years I have been "obsessed" with Bernadette, it is the first time that she has ever been in a movie in the theaters, so it was really fun to get to see her on the big screen!!
