Does anyone have that concert in England where she sang "SOME PEOPLE"???? AWESOME!!! That would be awesome if she sang that...

I hope that ROSE'S TURN would NOT be considered as a number for the Tonys. It is too much of a powerhouse number which serves as a culmination of everything which has gone before it. Better to do either a medley of songs which would incorporate more of the cast, or perhaps, if something spotlighting just Bernadette is chosen, EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSES. I for one DO NOT WISH to see Bernadette's ROSE'S TURN until I see the show in July.

Oh please please I hope they do not do a medley. Those always come off terribly on the Tonys.

I think we all just need to have faith that those involved with Gypsy will chose a great song from the show that shows off Bernadette's, the show's and the ensemble's( if they're participating in it) greatest qualities! I'm sure whatever they decide to do will be wonderful!

i too would not like to see "rose's turn" on the tony's because it wouldn't read right unless it was in the context of the play and probably wouldn't translate to the screen all that well either. somehting like "some people" or even something lighter than that. where are teh tonys by the way?

The Tony's are usually at Radio City Music Hall.

I do get what you guys are saying about "Rose's Turn." lol I guess I just love that number so much that I would want to see Bernadette perform it on TV. Maybe they can perform "Together, Wherever We Go" or one of Herbie & Rose's numbers?
